About Us
| The BVI Bar Association is a voluntary
association of lawyers admitted to practice in the British Virgin
Islands. It has its own constitution, ethical standards to uphold,
and disciplinary procedures. The Association meets fairly regularly
to discuss and decide on various matters affecting the legal profession
in the BVI. |

Tana’ania Small Davis
Tana’ania was elected as the President of the British Virgin Islands Bar Association in May 2008. She has over fifteen (15) years in practice having been admitted to the Bar of Jamaica in 1992 and to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 1999. She was also admitted to the Bar of St. Kitts and Nevis in 2003. Tana’ania is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica. She is a partner at a well established law firm in the British Virgin Islands and specializes in Civil Litigation, Corporate/Commercial Law, and Insolvency. She is also a member of the Commonwealth Lawyers Association and the Jamaican Bar Association. |

Vice President: Keisha M. Durham
Keisha was elected as the First Vice President of the British Virgin Islands Bar Association in May 2008. Keisha is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago. She was admitted to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in 2002 and to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 2003. Keisha is an Associate in the Insolvency and Litigation Department of a well established law firm in the British Virgin Islands and specializes in Commercial Litigation, Insolvency, Administrative and Telecommunications Law, regularly attending before the courts of the Virgin Islands and often working with other law firms around the world with regard to multi jurisdictional disputes. Keisha accredits her progress and well being to her Christian convictions and has a genuine interest in the Law and contributing to the development of the Legal System in the British Virgin Islands and beyond. |

Vice President: Kerry Anderson
Kerry was elected as the Second Vice President of the British Virgin Islands Bar Association in May 2008. He is a Partner in the Commercial Department of one of the well established law firms in the British Virgin Islands where he specializes in corporate/commercial, real estate and banking law. Kerry was admitted to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in 1999 and to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 2001. He is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago. |
Secretary: Laura S Arthur
Laura S Arthur was elected as the Secretary of the British Virgin Islands Bar Association in May 2008. is a 1990 graduate of the British Virgin Islands High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana in May 1994. Laura then attended Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she achieved the degree of Juris Doctor in May 1997 and was the recipient of the John and Frieda Golden Prize for Legal Writing. She also obtained a Certificate of Legal Education in March 2001 from the University of the West Indies, Eugene Dupuch Law School, in Nassau, Bahamas.
She was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1999, to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 2001 and to the Bar of Barbados in 2001.
Laura is a Senior Associate at a well established law firm. Her primary areas of practice include Banking and Finance and Conveyancing. |

Renard was elected as the Treasurer of the British Virgin Islands Bar Association in May 2008. Renard has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science Technology and Society from Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, New York. Renard is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and the Eugene Dupuch Law School in the Bahamas. He was admitted to the Bar of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (BVI) in 2007. He is an Associate at a well established law firm in the British Virgin Islands. |
